A Visit from Representative Ilhan Omar

At the end of May, Representative Ilhan Omar (MN CD 5) spent the afternoon at Minnehaha Commons with staff and residents to learn more about our programming and our partnership with Trellis. Congress will soon be asked to reauthorize the Older Americans Act, and it’s vital our congressional representatives see how this funding impacts the lives of older adults. We appreciate that Representative Omar was interested in visiting Minnehaha Commons, and a big thanks to the Minnehaha Commons team for all of their work to bring this event together!
